We’re excited to introduce our two newest members at Nebula; The new Cherokee Street CID Executive Director, Henry Brown, and the new CID Business Development Specialist, Ashley Johnson.
Henry is a Missouri licensed attorney with a background in management and administration. He previously worked at the St. Louis Development Corporation (SLDC) administering the Prop NS program, a voter initiated, inter-departmental effort which provides stabilization to and auction of city-owned homes. He also served as a Neighborhood Improvement Specialist (NIS) for the City of St. Louis acting as a liaison between residents, community groups and government agencies. He is a St. Louis native who grew up in Fox Park and attended college in West Harlem, NY at City College.
Ashely is an urban planner who most recently worked as the Director of Special Taxing Districts and Planning for Park Central in the Grove where she oversaw the administration of two community improvement districts and two special business districts – totaling over $1.9M in tax revenue. Prior to that she was a community development manager for Washington University’s Redevelopment Corporation. She has a Masters of Arts in Urban Planning & Real Estate Development from St. Louis University and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the University of Wisconsin.
