Meet the winners of the 2019 4 Hands + Nebula City Wide Pils Scholarship!
The winners of the 2019 City Wide Pils Scholarship were announced at Nebula’s July member happy hour with co-hosts 4 Hands Brewing Co. All of this year’s recipients were community organizations who are dedicated to creating positive change in the neighborhoods surrounding Nebula with a focus on working with youth.
The first place award went to My180 Youth Program, a nonprofit that mentors young people and provides tutoring and mental health assistance. Second place was awarded to Uke Go Girl, a nonprofit that empowers young women through learning to play ukulele. And rounding out our trio of winners is the City Rec Allstarz, a free youth dance program that teaches young people tap, ballet, hip hop and more!
4 Hands Brewing Co. contributes a portion of the funds raised by sales of their City Wide Pils to help foster the City of St. Louis. $1 of each case of City Wide Pils sold is donated to a scholarship fund every 4 months. Nebula was honored to partner with 4 Hands to present this year’s scholarship to three amazing community organizations dedicated to improving the city that we love.
