The 2600 block of Cherokee just got even more awesome. Between our Cherokee entrance and Buttonmakers, there are two new independent businesses with a local focus. You can now pick up local craft beer from Saint Louis Hop Shop, which opened in May, and support job training for the homeless by grabbing a cinnamon roll or loaf of bread from Bridge Bread.
Bridge Bread held its grand opening last Friday, June 17th, the same day on which our monthly 3rd Friday Happy Hour happened to fall. Working with Saint Louis Hop Shop, we brought our happy hour from its usual home upstairs to join the celebration. Saint Louis Hop Shop tapped a keg of Thorn & Heat strawberry ale for Nebula guests, who popped over to Bridge Bread to see the new space.
To learn more about our new neighbors, check out the Feast Magazine features on Saint Louis Hop Shop and Bridge Bread. Then next time you’re on Cherokee, stop by Bridge Bread to chat with volunteers about their mission and take a roll or loaf to go; kick back with a pint at Saint Louis Hop Shop’s bar, and take a 6-pack of local goodness home for later.
