Beth Bombara is an independent singer-songwriter based in St. Louis, Missouri. Originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, she moved to St. Louis in 2007 and launched her solo career shortly after, performing at local open mic nights and releasing her debut EP, Abandon Ship. Since then, she has built a devoted following with her trademark blend of folk- and blues-heavy Americana, drawing comparisons to Tom Petty and Aimee Mann, and has been named best Americana artist multiple times by the Riverfront Times.
Bombara’s guitar-driven songs blend emotional honesty with sparkling melodies, floating between a 90s indie rock sensibility and a 70s folk soul. Inspired by St. Louis’s rich history in blues and jazz, she has released six albums over the course of her career, including her most recent, It All Goes Up, in 2024. That same year she expanded her artistic reach, making her acting debut at the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, where she composed and performed original music onstage. Her work has earned attention from BBC Radio, American Songwriter Magazine, and Uncut Magazine.
