Nebula Coworking is looking for a part time space manager to work 2-3 days a week from 10am to 4pm and occasionally evenings when there is an event. The position has the potential to eventually grow to 5 days a week.

Job duties range from office manager to community builder. In addition to knowing about the coworkers at Nebula and encouraging collaboration in the workspace, the selected candidate will organize events that promote small businesses and entrepreneurship within the Cherokee Street community and greater St. Louis area.

This is a unique opportunity for an outgoing, intelligent and creative individual. We're looking for an independent self starter who will help develop and refine operations at Nebula. We want your ideas and creative solutions to improve the world - starting with Nebula.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Give tours to potential tenants and visitors
- Receive, sort and distribute mail/packages to tenants
- Answer, screen, and direct all incoming calls and correspondence
- Help market Nebula through the use of social and traditional media
- Organize and promote at least two events a month including a monthly happy hour on the 3rd Friday of each month
- Run errands, including obtaining supplies and food for events
- Collect payment for rent and services
- Ensure common areas are neat and presentable at all times
- Provide limited administrative support to the owner
- Assist tenants in scheduling shared resources such as the conference room

Requirements

- A strong desire to improve the City of St. Louis
- Highly self-motivated, persistent, dependable, and creative problem solver
- An outgoing hospitality oriented personality
- 2+ years experience doing something interesting or ability to fake it
- Ability to set priorities while multitasking
- Have your own laptop (preferably running mac OS X)
- Proficiency in Microsoft word and excel
- Have been to cement land
- Ability to work independently and cooperatively
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills
- Available to occasionally assist with requests outside normal hours
- Ability to think creatively

Preferred Qualities
- Knowledge of the St. Louis start-up and/or arts communities
- Own or have the ability to borrow a functioning space suit
- Competency in fixing basic internet issues
- Wordpress experience

Compensation
- $11/hr + intangible benifits
